Rex Duckett started in the Insurance industry in 1989 after being made redundant at his printing job. He answered an ad in the local paper for "a salesman with huge earning potential". At this job Rex was given the local phone book and told to call every name in it and ask them for a meeting to talk to them about insurance. Rex then teamed up with a fellow Adviser, Stuart Robson in Paraparaumu. He then relocated to Otaki and had a small office behind Daryl McLaren Law Office in Otaki Township.

As the business grew Rex moved to Main Street, Otaki, a bigger office where he worked alongside his wife, Monique growing the business. The business kept on growing and Inpro Group, over 25 years later, has a purpose built office right on the Main Highway with 4 staff and multiple Associate Advisers working under the mentoring of Rex.

Inpro Group is now a well known business in the Kapiti and Horowhenua districts.
